The retreat site is large and provides guests with many opportunities to roam around, be at one with nature, collect fruits from ancient trees, meditate, use the swimming pool, practice Yoga or light sports and even experiment with creative activities.  You will have the chance to closely observe the behavior of our adorable family of dogs and enjoy playful moments with them.

You are also invited to relax, unwind and let go, entering into contact with the nature around you and your own self and feeling the profound unity between humans and nature. We will dedicate time to activities that help develop these senses: mindfulness and meditation around the four basic elements, earth, water, fire and air – always in the presence of the resident dogs.

- Our resident dogs:  Retreat Bela Natureza’s central attraction are the resident dogs. Guest will have the chance to enjoy playful and relaxing moments with them in their natural environment. Highlights are the meditation sessions with dogs, as well as each day just after breakfast, when you can be in direct contact with the whole pack, under the guidance of their guardian, Evelyn. All of the dogs consistently receive the necessary veterinary care and attention. If you are interested in finding out more about dog health and behavior, you have the opportunity to do that together with us. Our dogs are usually free to roam – this space is their home and they are the kind hosts, inviting you to spend time with them and offering you a warm welcome. Sometimes they will seek out your company and want to play for a while or for you to give them a stroke. When courses or workshops are running and during the meals, the dogs stay away in their closed area.

-  Children: Retreat Bela Natureza welcomes children 6 years and up, but it is necessary that they be comfortable around dogs. Please contact us to discuss this in advance.

-  Accommodation: We offer eco-lodges in the style of indigenous “Oca” constructions, built using traditional adobe techniques and with thatched roofs, suites with a veranda, a group room and camping beneath leafy trees. -  Meals: We offer delicious vegetarian meals; the dishes are made from organic locally-produced vegetables. Guests, who like fish or meat from time to time, they can visit some excellent restaurants in Arembepe or other beaches in the surrounding area. The number of daily meals (lunch and dinner) depend on the package you choose (half or fully board). All packages include a delicious continental breakfast with fruits, juice, coffee or tea and regional goodies. We offer a supply of drinking water throughout the whole day. A coffee and tea break is available at extra cost.
